Storage
Egnyte
Version 1.0 · Last updated 2026-08-10
Context
Egnyte is an enterprise content platform for storing, sharing, and governing files.
Egnyte tends to hold the files an organization is most careful about - the ones with sharing and governance rules layered on for a reason. Connect it, and those same files flow into Living Knowledge, the engine that keeps your business knowledge current, then become grounding data your agent answers from and a public Help Center that publishes itself, SEO covered.
That’s the gap Egnyte’s own governance can’t close on its own: it controls what’s visible inside Egnyte, but Living Knowledge combines it with the tickets, websites, and everything else you connect into one always-current picture, rather than a view that stops at Egnyte’s front door.
Key benefits
- Better data quality: Unless ingests the files exactly as stored in Egnyte, skipping the navigation and footer clutter a website import would bring along.
- Always current: Update or replace a file in Egnyte, and Living Knowledge follows, so the agent never answers from a version your own governance rules have already superseded.
How does it work?
Unless pulls files out of Egnyte into Living Knowledge, where they become grounding data for your AI customer agent and feed the public Help Center built into it.
