Next Cloud OCS

Version 1.0 · Last updated 2026-08-10

Pull the files on your self-hosted Nextcloud into Unless so your AI agent answers from your own knowledge, wherever it's actually hosted.
This is a premium connector. See the pricing page for more information.

Context

Nextcloud is a self-hosted content collaboration platform: you run the server, so the files stay on infrastructure you control. Unless reaches in through its Open Collaboration Services API and pulls those files into Living Knowledge, the engine that keeps your business knowledge current.

Those files become the grounding data your agent answers from. A public Help Center publishes automatically from them, SEO handled, without your team touching the self-hosted instance again.

This is where Living Knowledge differs from a built-in help center: it doesn’t just index what’s on your Nextcloud server, it combines and deduplicates that with everything else you connect - tickets, websites, merge requests - into one holistic, always-current Help Center, instead of a view limited to a single self-hosted tool.

Key benefits

  • Better data quality: Because you host Nextcloud yourself, Unless ingests exactly the files you’ve stored there, with none of the navigation chrome or footer boilerplate a website crawl would drag in.
  • Always current: Update a file on your own Nextcloud server and Living Knowledge picks up the change, so the agent is never caught out answering from a stale local copy.

How does it work?

Unless connects to your Nextcloud instance over the OCS API and pulls its files into Living Knowledge, which grounds your AI customer agent’s answers and feeds the public Help Center built into the agent.
